Replace Bitly app links with Jumper.to links
A Bitly link opens the same address on every phone. Android users who tap your App Store link land on a page they can’t install from. One Jumper.to link sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play. Find the Bitly links that point at a store, make one Jumper.to link for each, and swap them in with the prompt this page builds.
Why Bitly users switch to Jumper.to
A Bitly link opens the same address on every phone, so Android users who tap an App Store link land on a web page they can’t install from. A Jumper.to link sends each phone to its own store, and each channel gets its own short link on oxi.cc, with installs counted per channel in App Store Connect and Google Play. 10 links cost $10 a year, with unlimited taps.
Before you start
Your old links look like bit.ly/abc, or they sit on your own domain if you set one up in Bitly. Only the ones that point at a store need this guide.
Bitly’s help explains the export on its paid plans: click Links in the left sidebar, then Export, and choose the email address that gets the CSV file. The file lists each link with its destination URL, so keep the rows that point at apps.apple.com or play.google.com. Up to 100 selected links can also be exported straight away.
No export on your plan? Copy the links from your Links page.
| Where the old link is | What to do |
|---|---|
| YouTube descriptions, bios and posts | Swap it with the prompt in step 2. |
| Your website and email signature | Swap it by hand or with the prompt: it is one place each. |
| Ads | Change the destination URL in your ad account. |
| Printed QR codes | Switch at the next print run. The Jumper.to QR code keeps working when you change where it points. You print it once. |
One new link per place keeps the taps of each channel apart.
Leave Bitly in three steps
- Make your new links. One Jumper.to link for each old link, for the same channel. “Pick channels” on your app’s page creates them all in one go.
- Swap them in. Paste old and new links into the form below. It builds one prompt that rewrites your YouTube descriptions, bios and posts with the new links and changes nothing else.
- Check. Tap each new link on a phone, scan any new QR code, and watch the taps arrive on each link’s stats.
Step 1: make your new links
Signed in, open your app and choose Pick channels. On “Create links for channels”, tick the places you post, such as your YouTube descriptions, your Instagram bio and your TikTok bio, and create every link in one go. Jumper.to then gives you the new links to copy as a list or download as a CSV file, ready for step 2.
New to Jumper.to? Paste your App Store or Google Play link at the top of this page to make your first link and your account. Your first 3 links are free, every year. No credit card.
Step 2: swap them in with an AI prompt
Paste your old links, one per line, and your new links in the same order. Or drop the CSV file you downloaded after creating the links into the new links box: its channel column lets the form match by channel when your old lines say where each link is posted. Tick where your links are posted.
You get the old → new table first, with a warning for every line that has no partner, appears twice or isn’t a link. Nothing is matched by guesswork. Then you get one prompt to copy into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, with no plugin or extra tool. The form runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent or stored, and it needs no account.
Your table and prompt appear here. Nothing leaves your browser.
Step 3: check every link
- Tap each new link on an iPhone and on an Android phone: the App Store and Google Play should open on your app.
- If you post on Instagram or TikTok, tap the link inside the app too, where most taps happen.
- Scan every new QR code with a phone camera before you print it.
- Open the link’s stats in your dashboard: taps show up per link within a few minutes.
Make your new links
Paste your App Store or Google Play link to start.
- Your first 3 links are free, every year.
- Nothing to install in your app
- No credit card

Questions
Will my old links stop working?
Not because of this guide: nothing here touches your Bitly account. Keep the old links until no post, email or printed QR code uses them.
Do I lose my stats?
Your old numbers stay in Bitly. The new links count from their first tap, per link and so per channel, and App Store Connect and Google Play Console can show installs per channel too.
How long does it take?
One sitting. The new links take a few minutes, because Pick channels makes a link for every channel at once. After that, each description or bio is paste, copy back and save: roughly a minute per text.
Can the AI break my descriptions?
The prompt tells it to change only links that exactly match your table and to keep every other character. It also makes the AI list every link it changed, so you can check each text in seconds before you save. If anything else changed, paste the original again.
Is anything I paste sent to Jumper.to?
No. The form builds the prompt in your browser, and nothing is sent or stored. What you paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini is between you and that service.
What does it cost?
The guide and the prompt are free. Your first 3 links are free, every year. After that, a link costs $2 a year, 10 for $10, or 100 for $20.
Is Jumper.to a Bitly replacement?
For links that point at an app store, yes: one Jumper.to link sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play, where a Bitly link sends every phone to the same address. Your other Bitly links stay as they are.
