A landing page for your app, made for you

Last updated

Every Jumper link comes with a landing page for your app. People who open the link on a computer see your app’s icon, name, the official store buttons, a QR code to scan with their phone, and a “send to my phone” form. It is built from your store listing automatically. Phones skip it and go straight to their store.

How to get it

  1. Paste your store link. Paste your App Store or Google Play link at app.oxi.cc/new. Jumper reads your app’s name, icon and developer from the listing.
  2. Save your link. Enter your email address and the code we send. The link and its landing page are live at once.
  3. Leave “everyone else” empty, or choose the page. With no website set, computers get the landing page. If you set a website, you can still open the landing page with the “View app page” button.
  4. Check it on a computer. Open your link in a desktop browser. You see the page your visitors see.

What visitors on a computer see

A short, clean page at the link itself, with nothing from other websites:

  • Your app’s icon, name and developer, from the store listing.
  • A short description you can edit.
  • The official App Store and Google Play buttons, each going to your listing.
  • A QR code of the link: scan it with a phone and the phone goes to its own store.
  • “Send to my phone”: type an email address and get the link in one email.
  • Links to your hosted pages, such as the privacy policy and support page.

Why computers need their own page

People find apps on computers too: in a newsletter, on a blog, in a search result or on a shared screen. A computer cannot install your iPhone or Android app, so sending it to a store page is a dead end. The landing page turns that visit into an install on the phone that is lying next to the keyboard.

It also helps on phones that have no store you listed, for example an iPhone when your app is only on Google Play. They see your app and the stores it is on, instead of an error.

Where each device goes

The landing page is only one of the places a link can send people.

Who sees what

With your App Store and Google Play listings set and no website.

The full order of devices is on the routing rules page.

Built from your store listing

When you paste your store link, Jumper reads the listing: the app’s name, icon, developer and description. The landing page uses them, so it is ready the moment you save. When you change your listing, run “Detect from a link” again on the link’s page to refresh the details.

The icon is copied to Jumper’s own servers, so the page never loads anything from another website and visitors are not tracked by anyone.

Questions

Is the landing page free?

Yes. Every link has one, including the 3 free links.

Do I have to design it?

No. It is built from your App Store and Google Play listings: name, icon, developer, a short description and the official store buttons. You can change the text.

Who sees the landing page?

People on a computer, and phones that have no store for your app. iPhones and Android phones go straight to their store and never see it.

What does “send to my phone” do?

A visitor on a computer types their email address and gets your link in one email, so they can open it on their phone. The address is used for that one email and not kept for marketing.

Can I send computers to my own website instead?

Yes. Set your website as the destination for everyone else. Visitors on a computer then go there, and the landing page is still available when you need it.

Can search engines find the landing page?

Only if you turn indexing on. It is hidden from search engines by default.
