# One link per creator: see which influencer brings installs

Last updated 4 November 2026

When several creators talk about your app, give each of them their own Jumper link. Every link opens the right store on every phone, inside Instagram and TikTok too, and carries the creator’s name to the stores. Jumper shows the taps per creator the same day, and App Store Connect shows the downloads per creator.

## How to set it up

1. **Make your app’s link.** Paste your App Store or Google Play link at app.jumper.to/new.
2. **Add one link per creator.** On your app’s page, add an install link for each creator: their platform as the channel, their name and the campaign as the campaign.
3. **Send each creator their link and QR code.** The link for bios and descriptions, the QR code for videos and stories.
4. **Compare after a week.** Taps per link in Jumper, downloads per campaign in App Store Connect.

## Why one link per creator

Promo codes do not work for a free app, and “where did you hear about us?” questions get few answers. A link per creator answers the question by itself. Every link opens the same app, but each one tells the stores which creator sent the visitor.

You find out who brings people who install, not only views and likes. Next time, you spend the budget on the creators who worked.

## How to name the links

Each link has a channel (the platform), a medium (like bio or story), a campaign and, if you want, a content name. Apple receives only the channel and the campaign, so put the creator’s name in the campaign. Keep it short: Apple keeps the first 30 characters.

### Three creators, three links

What you type on each link, and what App Store Connect shows.

| Creator | Channel | Campaign you type | App Store Connect shows |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Maya, on Instagram | Instagram | maya-spring | ig-maya-spring |
| Leo, on TikTok | TikTok | leo-spring | tt-leo-spring |
| A tech channel, on YouTube | YouTube | techchan-review | yt-techchan-review |

Google Play receives all four names as tags, so your analytics can show the creator too.

## An address a creator can say

On free credits each link is a short random address, so nobody can guess another creator’s link. With a paid credit you can choose a readable one, like oxi.cc/urappyt or oxi.cc/urappinsta, which is easier to say in a video and to type from a screen.

## What to send the creator

A short brief saves questions later. Send each creator:

- Their own link, for their bio, description or story sticker.
- The QR code of their link as a PNG, for a corner of the video, and as an SVG if they print anything.
- One line on what people get: “Opens the App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android, also inside Instagram and TikTok.”
- A request to post the link as it is, not through another link shortener: every extra step is one more page that can fail inside an in-app browser.

## Reading the results

Three places, each answering a different question.

### Where to look

Taps happen on the link; installs happen in the store.

| Question | Where |
| --- | --- |
| How many people tapped each creator’s link? | Jumper: taps and daily unique visitors per link, by country and phone |
| Did those taps reach the store? | Jumper: “Did it reach the store?” on each link’s stats |
| How many downloads did each creator bring on iPhone? | App Store Connect, App Analytics, Sources, Campaigns |
| And on Android? | Your analytics, from Google Play’s campaign tags |

Apple shows campaign numbers only when enough people agreed to share data, so a small creator can show taps but no downloads.

## What it does not do

There is no view to share a link’s numbers with a creator yet, and Jumper does not pay creators or track sales inside your app.

Jumper counts taps; Apple and Google count installs, and Apple hides campaign numbers that are too small. The link does not open your app when it is already installed, has no deferred deep links and does not follow people inside your app. It is a marketing link and its numbers, not an attribution platform.

## Questions

### How do I know which influencer brought installs?

Give each creator their own link with their name in the campaign. Jumper shows taps per link the same day, App Store Connect shows downloads per campaign, and Google Play passes the campaign to your analytics.

### Can a creator see the numbers?

Not yet. There is no view to share a link’s numbers with someone else. Send them a screenshot of the link’s stats.

### Does the link work in the creator’s Instagram or TikTok bio?

Yes. Jumper gets people out of Instagram’s and TikTok’s own browsers to the App Store on iPhone, and opens Google Play on Android.

### What should I do when the deal ends?

Leave the link live. Old posts and videos keep sending people for months, and you keep seeing it. A paused link shows an “unavailable” page instead of your app.

### Can it pay creators per install?

No. Jumper counts taps and the stores count installs per campaign, which is enough to compare creators. It is not an affiliate or payout platform.

### What does it cost?

3 free credits: each link or page uses one. Free credits renew every year. After that: $2 a credit a year, 10 credits for $10, 100 credits for $20. Taps are unlimited and there are no ads.
