# Firebase Dynamic Links migration: replace every page.link

Updated: 2026-11-05

Every page.link link has shown an error page since 25 August 2025, so every post that still carries one loses installs. Jumper.to replaces them with one short link per channel. It opens the App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android, even inside Instagram and TikTok, with no SDK. Make all the new links in one batch, then let ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini swap them into your descriptions and bios with the prompt this page builds.

## Why Firebase users switch to Jumper.to

Jumper.to does the job most apps used Dynamic Links for: one link and QR code that sends each phone to its own store. No SDK, no app update. Each channel gets its own link, carrying Apple’s campaign token and Google Play’s referrer, so App Store Connect and Play Console count installs per channel. A printed QR code keeps working when you change where it points. The link gets past Instagram’s and TikTok’s in-app browsers, tested in 10 apps. Your first 3 links are free, then $2 a link a year, or 10 for $10.

## Before you start

Your old links look like example.page.link/abc, or they sit on your own domain if you set one up for Dynamic Links. Both kinds stopped working.

Google’s export guide describes a Google Takeout export: one CSV file per domain, listing each short link and where it pointed. Google’s FAQ also says the link data was marked for deletion on 25 August 2025, so an export made now may come back empty. If you saved one before, use it.

If not, search your YouTube descriptions, bios, posts, website, emails and printed material for page.link and for your own Dynamic Links domain. Each address you find becomes one line in step 2.

### What to do with each old link

Where your old links are, and what to do with each.

| Where the old link is | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| YouTube descriptions, bios and posts | Swap it with the prompt in step 2. |
| Your website and email signature | Swap it by hand or with the prompt: it is one place each. |
| Ads | Change the destination URL in your ad account. |
| Printed QR codes | Reprint it with the new QR code: the old code now opens an error page. |

One new link per place keeps the taps of each channel apart.

## Leave Firebase Dynamic Links in three steps

1. **Make your new links.** One Jumper.to link for each old link, for the same channel. “Pick channels” on your app’s page creates them all in one go.
2. **Swap them in.** Paste old and new links into the form below. It builds one prompt that rewrites your YouTube descriptions, bios and posts with the new links and changes nothing else.
3. **Check.** Tap each new link on a phone, scan any new QR code, and watch the taps arrive on each link’s stats.

## Step 1: make your new links

Signed in, open your app and choose Pick channels. On “Create links for channels”, tick the places you post, such as your YouTube descriptions, your Instagram bio and your TikTok bio, and create every link in one go. Jumper.to then gives you the new links to copy as a list or download as a CSV file, ready for step 2.

New to Jumper.to? Paste your App Store or Google Play link at the top of this page to make your first link and your account. Your first 3 links are free, every year. No credit card.

## Step 2: swap them in with an AI prompt

Paste your old links, one per line, and your new links in the same order. Or drop the CSV file you downloaded after creating the links into the new links box: its channel column lets the form match by channel when your old lines say where each link is posted. Tick where your links are posted.

You get the old → new table first, with a warning for every line that has no partner, appears twice or isn’t a link. Nothing is matched by guesswork. Then you get one prompt to copy into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, with no plugin or extra tool. The form runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent or stored, and it needs no account.

## Step 3: check every link

- Tap each new link on an iPhone and on an Android phone: the App Store and Google Play should open on your app.
- If you post on Instagram or TikTok, tap the link inside the app too, where most taps happen.
- Scan every new QR code with a phone camera before you print it.
- Open the link’s stats in your dashboard: taps show up per link within a few minutes.

## Make your new links

## Questions

### Will my old links stop working?

They already have. Google’s announcement set 25 August 2025 as the last day, and says every Dynamic Link clicked since then returns an error page (HTTP 404), whether it was on page.link or on your own domain. That is why the swap is urgent.

### Do I lose my stats?

Google says the link data was marked for deletion on 25 August 2025, and its link stats service stopped answering, so the old numbers are gone. The new links count from their first tap, per link and per channel.

### How long does it take?

One sitting. The new links take a few minutes, because Pick channels makes a link for every channel at once. After that, each description or bio is paste, copy back and save: roughly a minute per text.

### Can the AI break my descriptions?

The prompt tells it to change only links that exactly match your table and to keep every other character. It also makes the AI list every link it changed, so you can check each text in seconds before you save. If anything else changed, paste the original again.

### Is anything I paste sent to Jumper.to?

No. The form builds the prompt in your browser, and nothing is sent or stored. What you paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini is between you and that service.

### What does it cost?

The guide and the prompt are free. Your first 3 links are free, every year. After that, a link costs $2 a year, 10 for $10, or 100 for $20.

### Is Jumper.to a Firebase Dynamic Links replacement?

For store links, yes: one link and QR code that sends each phone to the App Store, Google Play or your website, with installs counted per channel by the stores and no SDK. It doesn’t carry a deep link through the install (deferred deep linking).
